D-Von Dudley just recently talked to WrestlingNews.co, where the previous tag-team partner of Bubba Ray Dudley clarified the scenarios that resulted in his departure from WWE, his ideas on working for Vince McMahon compared to Triple H, and more.
On if he ‘d ever go back to WWE:“I informed Paul, ‘If you ever require me to come back to NXT, I’m there and I’ll be there for you. My door’s constantly available to Paul. I’m not stating that it’s closed to Vince, however I have a more powerful relationship, I feel, with Triple H. There’s absolutely nothing bad about that. I do not have a problem with Vince. I talked with Hunter a bit more than I made with Vince and I believe Paul comprehended me and comprehended me extremely well. I even composed him in a text informing him thank you for whatever since I actually appreciated him for where he originated from in regards to in business and the position that he’s in today, and my commitment lies with Paul. If Paul desired me to come back and do NXT, then I would come back, however right now I simply desire to enjoy myself and be with my household.”
On dealing with Vince McMahon compared to Triple H:“I’ve had an excellent relationship with Vince. Vince was a little stern. … Vince was the man that, essentially, if you didn’t do it, you understood it. That rod was boiling down. … Where Paul was type of a bit laid back, a bit more flexible, and a bit simpler to speak to in a sense.”
