Thunder Rosa has a new role with AEW while recovering from an injury.
Last August, Rosa announced that she was dealing with an injury and couldn’t defend the Women’s Title. It was later revealed to be a back injury, with the promotion introducing an interim title at All Out, where Jamie Hayter defeated Toni Storm to win the title at AEW Full Gear. Hayter later became the true champion.
Rosa started lifting again in December. It was recently reported that Rosa worked with the Spanish commentary team at a recent Dynamite event.
Rosa announced today that she will be working as a Spanish commentator and an on-screen personality.
“Exciting news, #AEW fans! While my recovery continues, I’ll join @AEW as a Spanish commentator & on-screen personality. I’m thrilled to be able to serve Spanish-speaking fans in this unique way. Health is a journey with ups and downs. Meanwhile, I’ll see you from the booth!”
