Per Dave Meltzer, it appears that The Usos will indeed make an appearance at the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber event taking place next Saturday. The main event of the night will see Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn. On this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown, The Usos successfully defended their Tag Team Titles against Braun Strowman and Ricochet, however, there remains a palpable discord between Jey Uso and the rest of The Bloodline.
A backstage segment featuring Zayn and Jey ended with a fist bump. In a separate backstage segment, Paul Heyman, per Roman Reigns’ instructions, informed Jimmy Uso that The Usos should abstain from being present at next week’s SmackDown or the Elimination Chamber event and instead watch the show from home in order to gain a different perspective. This suggested that Reigns was privy to the interaction between Jey and Zayn.
Initially, it was thought that Jimmy’s DUI history would prevent him from traveling to Montreal, Canada for the event. However, as noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, he was informed that Jimmy has been cleared to travel to Canada and may join his brother at the show.
As previously reported, WWE has plans for Zayn and Kevin Owens to challenge The Usos for the Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39.
It remains to be seen what role Jey and Jimmy will play in the outcome of the highly anticipated match between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. The ongoing rift between Jey and The Bloodline has added another layer of intrigue to The Bloodline Saga.
