This past Wednesday, Eddie Kingston suffered an injury.
The Wrestling Observer reports that the injury was one that was hoped Eddie would be able to return quickly from, however, it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. The circumstances of how Kingston suffered the injury are unclear.
On Saturday, DEFY Wrestling revealed the injury when they announced Kingston’s match with Artemis Spencer was canceled from the YEAR6 event.
Kingston is still scheduled to wrestle Jay White at NJPW Battle in the Valley next Saturday. Despite the said injury, it appears that The Mad King plans on being there for the clash. Kingston tweeted:
“Hahahahahaha I see you have lost not just Japan but your mind. So I will take just your health. There is no boss to be a favorite too here hahahahaha”
