Parker Boudreaux is a highly touted amateur wrestler and was considered to be one of the top prospects in WWE’s developmental system.
Boudreaux, formerly known as Harland in WWE NXT, signed with AEW in August 2022. Parker is currently a member of the Mogul Affiliates stable.
Given his resemblance to Brock Lesnar, Boudreaux is often referred to as “the second coming of The Beast Incarnate.” There are certainly some comparisons that can be drawn between the two wrestlers, as both are known for their impressive physicality and athleticism.
However, Lesnar has a much longer and more established career in professional wrestling, and Boudreaux is just beginning his journey in the industry. It will be interesting to see how Parker Boudreaux’s career develops in the coming years and if he can live up to the hype surrounding him.
On the Wrestling Perspective podcast, Strickland addressed the comparisons between Parker and Brock and hopes his Mogul Affiliates stablemate is able to wipe away the comparisons.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
Pressure on Parker Boudreaux to get rid of the Brock Lesnar comparisons: “There’s a lot of people in the fanbase that’s kind of doubting that because I feel like the conditioning is to doubt what’s new. You want to give fans something that hasn’t necessarily been done, or it’s just so against the fanbase.”
On what he wants to do with The Mogul Affiliates: “I’m going to take these guys and make something that you didn’t know it’s what you wanted, and that’s going to take time to do. Having Parker kind of slowly wipe that [Lesnar] comparison away, I don’t want him to be compared to anybody, I don’t want my other man to be compared to anybody either, especially since he’s so new.”
