WWE NXT Vengeance Day News– Carmelo Hayes Defeats Apollo Crews, Dabba-Kato Returns

After weeks of stress on live tv, Apollo Crews and Carmelo lastly clashed in a two-out-of-three falls match at WWE NXT: Vengeance Day.

Hayes beat Crews in 2 straight falls. The Killanova scored the very first fall through submission after putting Crews in the crossface hold. Hayes scored the 2nd fall through pinfall after nailing his challenger with a leading rope leg drop.

Throughout the climax, Dabba-Kato (the previous Commander Azeez), went back to stop Trick Williams from interfering in the match. The diversion still cost Crews the bout and the 2nd fall.

Following the match, Dabba-Kato hugged Crews prior to brutalizing him.
