Aron Stevens Recalls Getting Bumped From The WrestleMania 29 Card

Both Aron Stevens and Tyrus are delighting in success with the NWA. Stevens is a previous NWA National Champion, and Tyrus is the present NWA Worlds Champion. There was a time when both guys were not as valued on a wrestling card.

While Stevens was carrying out as Damien Sandow in WWE, he was scratched from WrestleMania 29. CM Punk and The Undertaker had a hot fight at the time, so Stevens’ match was cut in order to provide the 2 super stars more time. Tyrus, then referred to as Brodus Clay, was set to complete in the very same match, leading to his look being ditched, too.

Consulting with WrestlingNews.co, Stevens remembered the snub and how Tyrus responded. He stated,

“It drew! I will state this: Tyrus or Brodus … he managed it cooler than anybody I have ever [ seen] We’re there, we are lined up. They [Tyrus and his partners] were preparing yourself to head out initially, and Tyrus is right there. Vince drops the news on us. Due to the fact that I saw the dissatisfaction and it was this awful thing, and I understood what was going on. Tyrus merely just turned [chuckles] and began strolling, and left of the arena. And when I state ‘‘ out of the arena,’ he was past the car park, he remained in the street. He returned and a female who operated at MetLife Stadium stated, ‘‘ Sorry, can I see your ticket?’ And he simply took a look at her and stated, ‘Really?’ That was it.”
