Piper Niven overcame as a babyface in WWE NXT UK prior to being transferred to the primary lineup, where she coordinated with Eva Marie under the ring name Doudrop.

This alliance was temporary as Niven switched on Marie at SummerSlam in 2021, resulting in a fight that saw Niven triumph.

Niven made her return throughout the Royal Rumble PLE, where she dropped the Doudrop name.

Alex McCarthy of the Daily Mail reported that Niven learnt about the name alter a month prior to the occasion when it was chosen that the Rumble would be the location for her return in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match.
