On the current edition of his “What Happened When” podcast, Tony Schiavone offered his ideas on William Regal’s run in AEW and discussed what he felt the creator of the Blackpool Combat Club gave the table in the promo.
Tony Schiavone stated, “Regal is among the better individuals you can have. He was with us for a time, and he truly, truly invested a great deal of time prior to programs, even beginning previously in the day, dealing with the young skill. Not just entering the ring and revealing them things, however speaking with them. As you understand if you listened to his podcasts, William Regal understands how to talk. Young boy does he ever. I do not believe he’s a blabbermouth who talks excessive, however he yaps.”
Regal went back to WWE last month, where he is presently Vice President of Global Talent Development.
