Chris Jericho Reveals The Most Important Thing In Wrestling

While appearing n “WTF with Marc Maron,” AEW star Chris Jericho spoke about a large range of subjects including what wrestling methods to him.

The previous AEW World Champion believes the characters in wrestling are necessary, however storytelling is what makes the market unique.

“Wrestling is all character,” Jericho informed Maron. “The relocations are essential, and the matches are interesting, however you need to get in touch with the audience. It’s similar to funny, or acting, or anything. You need to get in touch with the audience. If you can do that to a high level, the audience will pay to see you, and they’ll have an interest in what you’re doing.”

“That’s the top thing of wrestling– it’s storytelling,” Jericho continued. “There’s gon na be some insane matches, [where] the athleticism is through the roofing, however the stories behind them are the most crucial thing.”
