AEW Star Is Off Television Due To Injury

TNT Champion Samoa Joe beat Wardlow on the New Year’s Smash edition of AEW Dynamite on December 28, which lasted 2 minutes.

After the match, Joe beat him down and cut off Wardlow’s ponytail. Wardlow hasn’t been seen ever since.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Wardlow was crossed out tv due to injury.

“When Wardlow did the match where Samoa Joe got his leg, the factor he hasn’t been back for vengeance and dropped the TNT title is because of an injury concern. The things with Joe was done to establish his taking some time off. The injury is not thought to be one that will keep him out of action for a very long time”
