Bloomberg.com reports that a third lawsuit has been filed against Vince McMahon and WWE. Specifically, the suit is in relation to McMahon’s return as Executive Chairman of the WWE Board of Directors. The suit is being heard before the Chancery Court of Delaware.
WWE shareholders Carole Casale and Chrystal Lavalle are suing over McMahon’s alleged history of paying to cover up sexual harassment accusations. They’re asking that this lawsuit be kept separate from the other two lawsuits already dogging McMahon.
The Police and Fire Retirement System of Detroit and WWE shareholder Scott Fellows also have pending lawsuits against Vince. These lawsuits were filed over the changes made to the company’s by-laws when McMahon returned. Those by-law changes were reversed by McMahon earlier this month. Because of McMahon’s reversal, those plaintiffs are now seeking a court-ordered reward.
