WWE SmackDown Viewership Drops On 10/15 With Move To FS1
WWE SmackDown viewership took a hit due to the show’s temporary move to FS1 on October 15.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that 866,000 viewers watched the show on Friday night, a noteworthy decrease from the 2.147 million viewers who watched the show last week. In the 18 to 49 demographic, Thurston notes that SmackDown scored a 0.24 rating, (314,000 viewers) which is way down from the 0.52 number it drew on October 8.
It’s important to note that FS1 is a smaller channel than FOX, as it’s not available in as many households.
