Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson recently confirmed that he’ll be in attendance at WWE SummerSlam, leading many wrestling fans to speculate that he could be signing with the company at some point in the future. Steveson has been linked to the company for a while now, and while his future with WWE is unclear, one of the company’s top stars is willing to help him make the jump.

In a brief interview with TMZ Sports, former WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins noted that Stevnson could follow in fellow gold medalist Kurt Angle’s footsteps by launching a professional wrestling career. If he does, Rollins explained that he could train Steveson at his wrestling school, the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, to prepare the young star.

“I mean, we’d love to have him,” said Rollins. “He seems like an incredible athlete, and decent dude. And, you know, we’ve had some luck with Olympic gold medalists before, so why not?

“I do have a wrestling school, Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, so if he wants to move to Davenport, Iowa for three months, we’ll get him ready.”RELATED: Gable Steveson Wins Olympic Gold Medal With Stunning Last-Second Takedown, Triple H Comments
