Zechariah Smith, Stephon Smith & Giant Zanjeer Released By WWE

Two big men and a referee were three of the several releases that WWE made on the evening of August 6. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that Zechariah Smith, Giant Zanjeer and Stephon Smith were all released by the company on Friday. Zechariah and Zanjeer both tower over seven feet tall and it was the latter which was used in The Superstar Spectacle in India. Zechariah was a former basketball player before signing with WWE in early 2020. Stephon Smith was an active referee for the NXT brand.
