Edge has had enough of Seth Rollins constantly interrupting his chances of winning a title, and now the two face off at SummerSlam after arguing during tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Tonight, Edge was interviewed backstage, where he called Seth Rollins a “bastard” and said that the issues between the two superstars go further back than just the past few weeks. After making his way down to the ring, Edge called out Rollins — who wasn’t at the event tonight — and said that if he were there, what Edge would do to him would land him in jail.
Edge said that he was content with letting the past be the past until Money in the Bank happened, although Edge said he couldn’t blame Rollins for what he did. Shortly after, Rollins appeared on the Jumbotron, laughing and clapping at Edge. Rollins said that Edge should have seen his attack last week coming, and when challenged to a match at SummerSlam, said he would think about it and that he was the one calling the shots.

After Rollins spoke, Edge then launched into him, saying that the real thing that bothers Rollins is that he still walks in Edge’s footsteps but knows he can’t fill them, because he’s nothing but an “Edge lite.” This angered Rollins, who said that he was better than Edge in every way and that he knows it, before he accepted the SummerSlam challenge.
