At AEW Double or Nothing, several of the company’s top stars competed in the Casino Battle Royale, hoping to earn a shot at the AEW World Championship. The bout came down to Christian Cage and Jungle Boy, and the young star outlasted the veteran.

Lio Rush was the mystery entrant, also called the “joker.”

He entered the match and caught Private Party and other competitors by surprise with his high-flying offense. But the former WWE star was eliminated by Matt Hardy to end his brief time in the battle royale.

Rush enjoyed plenty of success in WWE. He won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship during his run with the company.
