Michael “MT” Nakazawa and Eddie Kingston were set to face off in a match tonight on AEW Dynamite, but the situation quickly changed when Kingston called out Kenny Omega instead. A chaotic showdown culminated in Don Callis’ reluctant agreement to give Kingston the chance to face Omega in a tag team match.

Kingston came out to the ring and promptly told Nakazawa off, saying he was not here for sports entertainment, but instead to see Omega. The AEW World Champion gave in to the demand, making his way out to the ring and talking to Kingston long enough for Nakazawa to attack him from behind with a laptop. Kingston quickly fought him off, so Omega tried to send Brandon Cutler to the ring. Cutler couldn’t, though, as cameras revealed that he was receiving an assault at the hands of Jon Moxley.

Moxley came down to the ring and helped Kingston take down Omega, and the two then grabbed a chair from outside of the ring and wedged Omega’s leg into it. They demanded Don Callis to come out and give them a tag team match with Omega & Nakazawa next week. Otherwise, they threatened to break the champion’s ankle.

Callis had no choice but to agree to the conditions, setting up a match next week that Omega will no doubt be ready for.
