MLW is entering a new era, but first it must conclude its current chapter.
During Wednesday’s episode of MLW Fusion, the company announced that this season of the show will end on May 5. The special episode will feature an MLW World Middleweight Championship rematch where Lio Rush will defend the title against Myron Reed.
After the season finale, MLW will hold its first event with fans since the beginning of the pandemic on July 10.
Next week’s show will feature a significant match, too, as Tom Lawlor will battle Marshall Von Erich to settle the score in their heated rivalry.

Plus, during this week’s show, MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone challenged World Heavyweight Jacob Fatu to a champion vs. champion match. If the match is booked, it’s currently unclear when it will take place.
