Roderick Strong Hands In His Notice To Leave NXT: ‘I’m Done’

Roderick Strong made a shocking decision during tonight’s episode of NXT by handing in his resignation to William Regal.
In a backstage segment, Strong, alongside his wife, Marina Shafir, was seen handing an envelope to Regal, who looked unhappy about the situation. Regal asked Strong if he was sure about his choice, and Strong confirmed it. He told Regal that he was “done” before he shook the general manager’s hand. Regal said that there will always be a place for Strong in NXT, but he watched the former NXT Tag Team Champion leave with a sad look on his face.
It’s unclear whether Strong is genuinely quitting the brand at this point. He could simply be unhappy with the way his career has gone following the breakup of The Undisputed Era. In the meantime, it’ll be interesting to see what the remaining members of the group will do after this development.
