Chris Bey says struggle is only a minor setback.
Bey posted a new photo, confirming he’s not cleared to compete. Bey did not go into detail about what the injury is or how long he would be sidelined, but his post comes a few days after IMPACT used a BTI segment to explain his absence. George Iceman used this week’s “Iceman Intel” segment on Behind The Impact to give an apparent storyline explanation for Bey’s status, claiming someone attacked the former X Division Champion.
“Someone has been put on the shelf,” he said, referring to Bey. “He has been sidelined and cannot compete, and there has been a lot of speculation about what happened. My sources are telling me he was attacked.”
Iceman questioned who would attack Chris Bey, but it remains to be seen how much time he will actually miss. Bey’s last match with IMPACT was a singles match against Ace Austin on March 9.
