Andrade is free to start chasing his dreams any time he’d like.
Andrade posted the following, confirming he does not have a 90-day non-compete clause as a condition of his WWE release:
Start my new goals and we are in talks, no waiting for 90 days. A empezar mis nuevas metas y empezamos pláticas, nada de esperar 90 días!
On Monday, F4WOnline.com reported his release from WWE does not include a 90-day non-compete, indicating he could start working for other promotions immediately. Andrade was released by WWE on Sunday night, confirming the move with a one-sentence statement, wishing him “all the best in all of his future endeavors.”
Formerly known as Andrade Cien Almas in NXT, he has not been used on WWE TV since October. He debuted with WWE on the NXT brand in January 2016 and later joined SmackDown (with Zelina Vega) after being moved in that year’s Superstar Shakeup. Prior to WWE, he was known as La Sombra and gained international fame as part of the CMLL roster in Los Ingobernables alongside Rush, Marco Corleone (Mark Jindrak) and La Máscara.
