Tony Khan once again appeared at tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, this time to discuss the events of AEW Revolution, and even mentioning the now infamous ending to the Barbed Wire Exploding Deathmatch between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley.

In a brief message to the IMPACT Wrestling world, Khan called Kenny Omega possibly the greatest wrestling champion we’ve ever seen, before saying that he was “terrible” at building exploding rings. “We learned that Kenny Omega might be a great wrestling champion, he might be the best wrestler in the world, and he is AEW’s World Champion,” he said. “He’s also terrible at building exploding rings. Eddie Kingston might be a great friend after all. Jon Moxley might’ve not won the title back, but he did win a friend back. The exploding ring ended up not being enough to seriously harm either man but that doesn’t take away from what Eddie Kingston did.”

Clearly, Khan is able to see the humor in the ending of the pay-per-view, but still wanted to take the time to mention just how much of a good friend Kingston was for doing what he did. While Moxley may not have won the title, Khan claims he did win back a friend, and during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, we’ll see the fallout from the pay-per-view.
