By defeating Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley has earned a one-on-one WWE Championship Match next week. If Strowman won, the WWE Championship Match would have been a three-way bout.
Lashley overpowered Strowman early on, but “The Monster Among Men” quickly matched his might. Strowman squashed Lashley in the corner and dumped him over the ropes to take control. But Lashley sent him crashing into the steps to end his rally. Strowman blocked the Hurt Lock and dropped Lashley with a clothesline. Lashley kicked out of Strowman’s signature Powerslam, and “The Almighty” floored Strowman with a Spinebuster and a Spear for the win.
