30th Annual NJPW G1 Climax Set To Begin September 19th
New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced the schedule for the 30th annual G1 Climax on Saturday. G1 Climax 30 will take place from September 19th to October 18th. The premiere tournament in NJPW, the G1 Climax is a round robin tournament, comprised of NJPW’s best, with the winner receiving a title match at Wrestle Kingdom.
This year’s tournament will be the first to take place outside of August under the G1 Climax name. The NJPW World Cup in 1989 took place in November/December, otherwise the tournament has always been held in late-spring/summer.

- Sept. 18th & 19th- Osaka
- Sept. 23rd & 24th- Hokkaido
- Sept. 27th- Hyogo
- Sept. 29th & 30th- Tokyo
- Oct. 1st- Niigata
- Oct. 5th- Tagawa
- Oct. 6th & 7th- Hiroshima
- Oct. 8th- Okayama
- Oct. 10th- Osaka
- Oct. 11th- Aichi
- Oct. 13th- Shizuoka
- Oct. 14th- Kanagawa
- Oct. 16th, 17th & 18th- Ryogoku Sumo Hall (G1 Climax Final on 10/18)
