Could we have seen the Nation Of Domination reform this past Monday on RAW? That was originally in the plans for the red brand, according to Dave Meltzer.
In his latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that there was an idea for the Nation of Domination to come back together with both Ron Simmons and Mark Henry firing off the angle. Both Henry and Simmons were in attendance for the tapings and while the man formerly known as Farooq did appear on-screen this past RAW, Henry didn’t.
Currently, Meltzer is uncertain if the plans are to continue with the angle or if was dropped all together. He does report there were a lot of people backstage who thought it was very tone-deaf to do at the moment and that’s why a lot of the idea was left just as that.
