Apollo Crews Unable To Compete, MVP Claims He’s The New United States Champion At WWE Extreme Rules

At WWE The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, MVP was scheduled to challenge Apollo Crews for the WWE United States Championship. But before the match, the announcers revealed that Crews was unable to compete due to an injury he suffered last month during an attack from Bobby Lashley on WWE RAW. At Extreme Rules, MVP declared himself the new WWE Champion.

Crews defeated Andrade on the May 25th episode of WWE RAW to win the WWE United States Championship. He has been MVP’s target ever since.
