NXT #1 Contender’s Match For Women’s Title Gets A Stipulation Change

NXT iteration of The Great American Bash appears to be really be leaning into the “bash” aspect of the event as just week one of the show is setting itself up to be quite the spectacle. Round one of the two-week event was already featuring a fatal four way to determine the number one contender for the Women’s Championship, but WWE just made the announcement yesterday that the headline bout will be under elimination rules. It will be Mia Yim vs. Tegan Nox vs. Candice LeRae vs. Dakota Kai due determine who takes on Io Shirai next.

Another bout that was just booked over the weekend for week one of NXT GAB happened to be Oney Lorcan taking on Timothy Thatcher in was should be quite the stretching session. In addition to that Sasha Banks will be showing up to square off against Women’s Champion Io Shirai in a non-title match.
