Chikara Reportedly Shutting Down, Mike Quackenbush Resigning From WrestleFactory After Allegations
Chikara, the eccentric Philadelphia-based indie promotion that has entertained wrestling fans since 2012, is reportedly closing down.
This comes after allegations were made against both the promotion and owner Mike Quackenbush. Per PWInsider, an official announcement will be made soon. Quackenbush will also resign as the head trainer of the affiliated WrestleFactory wrestling school.
Several Chikara wrestlers and trainers have left the company since the allegations went public including Hallowicked, Joshua Wells, Count King Worldstar, and Kimber Lee.
