Dominik Mysterio, a prominent WWE figure, has declared that he had a much higher TV appearance frequency in the previous year compared to Cody Rhodes, another WWE superstar. He shared his belief recently on the widely watched “No-Contest Wrestling” podcast. Some essential insights from his appearance have been detailed below:
Regarding his frequency on WWE TV in 2023, Mysterio asserts: “Positively, I had more TV exposure than Cody during this year as I was a regular on both NXT and SmackDown channels”.
He goes on to describe his packed timetable during this year: “The challenging schedule was certainly no joke. I would reside in Orlando every Wednesday, depending on the requirement for TV, and fly out again on Thursdays. This was the standard cycle for several months”.
Mysterio also humorously recalls his appearance at SummerSlam 2005 as a youngster: “Growing up in San Diego was tough. I requested a Mercedes, received a BMW instead. It was tough. I had my bedroom; my sister’s room was across from mine. I was never given my separate upstairs space. Things were hard. I was made to wash my own clothes. They forced me to do all these tasks. It seemed insane. I don’t think I was even compensated for the work. In my opinion, this equates to child labor. To make matters terrible, when I did participate in WWE events such as SummerSlam and got paid for my participation, I never knew where those funds ended up. I need to discuss this issue with my mom. I purchased one bike with my earnings, and my mom commented, ‘There goes your money.’ I appeared in three pay-per-views, several weeks of TV shows, and you claim that I am broke after buying just one bike?”
