In his own words, Kevin Owens claimed his attack on Cody Rhodes during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event was completely warranted.
The climactic scene of the show featured Rhodes executing a Cross Rhodes onto Owens, using a chair that Owens, the Canadian wrestler, had brought into the ring while the referee was incapacitated.
Following the match, Owens retaliated by launching an aggressive move against Rhodes, striking him with a piledriver. The incident escalated when Owens confronted Triple H at the entrance.
Owens took to Twitter to present his version of the events that transpired after the show. His tweet can be found below:

In addition to this, Owens posted a throwback photo of him holding the coveted Winged Eagle WWE Championship on his Twitter account. The said championship was brought back into focus during Saturday Night’s Main Event.
