In Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision: Winter Is Coming, the team of Lio Rush and Action Andretti became the number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. They won their match against Top Flight, with the winning move being a 450 splash on Darius Martin by Andretti. Their victory earns them a future matchup against the reigning champions, Private Party.

Furthermore, in the International Women’s Cup at Wrestle Dynasty 2025 qualifiers, Willow Nightingale secured her place by claiming a win. Jamie Hayter, who was flattened by Nightingale’s Doctor Bomb, had an even worse day when she was attacked by a returning Julia Hart with a Hammerlock DDT. The venue of Hart’s AEW return is the same as that of her last appearance for AEW at the Chaffeitz Arena in St. Louis at Dynasty.

Nightgale will now compete alongside Athena and fighters from STARDOM and CMLL in the International Women’s Cup for the NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025.

The show also saw the announcement that Matt Cardona is the scheduled guest for Sunday’s episode of Hey! (EW) with RJ City. Further highlights from Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage can be watched below:
