The iconic WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long found himself in a challenging predicament after being discovered marketing Viagra to other WWE wrestlers during the celebrated Attitude Era of the wrestling company.

During this time, Long was occupying the position of a referee in the WWE universe, and he later ascended to the role of General Manager of SmackDown in 2004.

On a recent episode of The Undertaker’s podcast called “Six Feet Under”, Teddy Long reminisced about the unique experience of being taken to task in the WWE’s informal wrestler’s court pertaining to his Viagra sales. In his own words,

“I found myself faced with a wrestler’s court situation due to selling Viagra to the boys. They handed out a summons, I had no law representative so I managed to rope in Mae Young. I nearly swayed the room, but then Mae Young made a blunder and referred to Viagra as ‘Niagara,’ which resulted in my sentencing. ‘Taker pronounced me guilty and my punishment was supplying chicken and beer for about a month for JBL and another wrestler. So, I found myself purchasing Kentucky Fried Chicken and beer for about a month.”

Long received his induction into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame in 2017, and continues to occasionally moonlight in the wrestling franchise till date.

In recent news, Teddy Long has voiced his keen interest in seeing a face-off between Bobby Lashley and the new AEW recruit, the All Mighty. More details on this can be found here.
