During the TNA Final Resolution 2024 pay-per-view occasion on Friday night, an unplanned and intense interaction occurred with a member of the audience and Eddie Edwards amidst his bout with Matt and Jeff Hardy.
Fighting alongside Brian Myers as a part of The System in a Tables Match for the TNA Tag Team Championships, Edwards got into trouble with a spectator from the front row. Initially, a verbal exchange took place between Edwards and the spectator, but the situation escalated when the latter slapped the preceding TNA World Champion.
Although the spectator’s slap seemed to be given in jest, Edwards retaliated with a considerably more impactful slap. He smacked the spectator in the face and aggressively pushed them back into their seat. TNA officials swiftly stepped in, guiding the spectator away from the ringside area. Edwards looked into the broadcast camera and smirked, proudly stating, “I’m still having fun.”
The bout concluded when Jeff Hardy, from an audience perch, executed a dive onto Eddie Edwards, lying on a table.
