However, issues came up with Vice’s financial restructuring and Warner Bros. Discovery’s desire for more dramatization, leading Prinze Jr. to reject the reality show concept.
About the conversation with NBCUniversal: Prinze Jr. had discussions with NBCUniversal, who were similarly looking for a more established product. He faced repeated issues since he was not bringing another pre-existing promotion. This led him to partner with a distribution company. The actor plans to creatively direct and help build culture in already known promotions and present them to a wider TV audience. The goal is to maintain the promotion’s name and use his creative expertise to propel their promotion forward.
About the search for a suitable promotion: Prinze Jr. talked about the challenges he faced when looking for promotions to work with.
