Welcome to a special edition of eWrestlingNews’ Q&A Day!
The final TNA Wrestling pay-per-view of the annum is set to showcase tonight, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. TNA Final Resolution 2024 is the event to look forward to, and before it begins with the pre-event at 7.30 p.m., let’s share our last-minute predictions for the winners of the scheduled bouts.
So here’s my question for you today, “Who do you believe will emerge victorious at TNA Final Resolution 2024?”
Please make sure to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
And here’s my opinion…
Countdown: Leon Slater vs. JDC
It’s important to note that my interaction with TNA is limited to the pay-per-views, and I don’t track Impact regularly. This, understandably, restricts my in-depth knowledge of the dynamics. Regardless, I believe it’s important to add my perspective to stimulate an exciting discussion. Caveat: don’t bet your odds based on my guesses!
Coming to the bout, I’m leaning more towards JDC. From what I know, he seems to be a dominant presence.
Countdown: Jonathan Gresham vs. Frankie Kazarian
In this case, I feel Kazarian has an edge if he’s being positioned as a future menace to the world title due to his Call Your Shot gauntlet victory. Moreover, Gresham’s contract with TNA is nearing its end, right? Is it possible he might transition to WWE, considering that’s where rumors suggest his spouse, Jordynne Grace, might go?
Jordynne Grace vs. Rosemary
Speaking of Grace, I don’t see her beating Rosemary carrying much import. Rosemary, who’s an established member, stands more to gain from this victory, making her a bigger threat to the Knockouts title.
Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven
Regretfully, I am lacking all knowledge on this one. I have nothing to base a prediction on. It’s a toss-up, really.
TNA World Championship #1 Contender’s Four-Way Match: Joe Hendry vs. Josh Alexander vs. Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin
Conspiracy theories aside, Joe Hendry’s teasing about participating in the Royal Rumble a few months ago could suggest his resurgence in the title hunt. Picturing this scenario, he might defeat Nemeth for the title in January (likely Genesis on January 19th), which could lead to an interesting development in the Royal Rumble on February 1st, 2025.
Tables Match for TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) (c) vs. The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards)
Quite honestly, this could go either way. Myers has recently found himself in an unfortunate situation, and The Hardys’ inclusion definitely ramps up interest.
So, leaning towards The Hardy Boyz retaining their titles.
TNA X-Division Championship: Moose (c) vs. KUSHIDA
I’m inclined towards predicting Moose retaining. He seems to be a constant feature without directly aiming for the world title. However, things could change if my guesstimate about Hendry proves correct, leading Moose into a different narrative come March’s Sacrifice.
On balance, I’d still stick with Moose for now. KUSHIDA could just remain a significant challenger.
TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Tasha Steelz
Slamovich has just taken the title and I don’t see her losing it so quickly. That doesn’t seem logical to me.
TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. A.J. Francis
It would be an unexpected twist to see Francis emerge victorious, but it seems more likely that Nemeth will retain his title. Francis might be just another contender to keep things interesting.
Looking forward to Nemeth defending his title against Hendry in the upcoming January event.
