Ethan Page Targets WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, Trick Williams Talks Carmelo Hayes

WWE star Ethan Page has his sights set on participating in the Elimination Chamber 2025 event.

Page expressed his ambitions during a recent guest appearance on “The Takedown” podcast.

In his interview, Page said, “The aim is to increase my earnings as much as possible. At 35 years old, the need to secure my financial future is pressing. I have two children and a beautiful wife from Colombia to take care of. In order to ensure everyone’s happiness and security, it may be necessary to form alliances with individuals like Punk, who wronged me. If there is a need for a special guest referee, I’m quite suitable. I also have a past connection with Cody. Although it’s a personal memory for me, it means a lot. Engaging in a match with him would be significant. And Randy, he was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up. But that’s the past, now it’s time to face him as an equal.”

Page didn’t stop there, adding, “John Cena needs to be dealt with too. He isn’t getting any younger, so an encounter would be timely,” Page added. “Add the Royal Rumble as a goal too. WrestleMania is also a dream event to participate in. And let’s not forget about the upcoming event in Toronto, the Elimination Chamber. It requires six wrestlers for the match. Pick five and count me in as the sixth.”

Meanwhile, Trick Williams began his journey in NXT with Carmelo Hayes, a friendship that was instrumental to his development in the ring.

Williams talked about his experience working with Hayes on the “No-Contest Wrestling” podcast.

Highlights from the podcast include:

Regarding his time with Hayes: “A major influence for me was, unquestionably, Carmelo Hayes. I gained significant knowledge by being at his side, or even slightly behind him. When he was headlining PLE events for Tuesday nights, it was an opportunity for me to observe and learn, and also to connect with the audience … It also gave me a taste of what the main event feels like without the associated pressure.”

Regarding his rivalry with Hayes: “When the crowd started chanting ‘Whoop That Trick’ and things started going well for me, I felt slighted by Hayes. The situation made me realise I needed to stand on my own … I wasn’t happy with always playing second fiddle. That’s not fair.”
