On the “No Name Wrestling” podcast, Layla, a former WWE superstar, discussed the prospects of a comeback. Particularly, she is interested in teaming up again with Michelle McCool, her former partner. She also expressed interest in facing certain WWE Superstars in the ring.

In 2015, Layla left WWE due to concerns about the travel schedule.

Here are some highlights from her podcast appearance:

When discussing a possible return to WWE, she said: “Yes, now I’m definitely considering it. Prior to this, I was adamant, 100% no, I needed a break, I wanted to detach. But now? Surely, I would want one last performance before I get too old to make a comeback. An idea I’m genuinely interested in is a Lay-Cool reunion. If that could actually happen, why not? We had a large fanbase together. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I would totally cherish uniting with my best friend one last time.”

On the topic of which WWE talent she would like to collaborate with, she shared: “I must say, I am a fan of watching Chelsea Green and Piper. They’re brilliant at their work. I think we could have a worthwhile stint with them and is it Stratton? I truly believe she’s going to be a massive star. Her appearance, her gear, and her in-ring skills are impressive. Jade is another star in the making and it would be wonderful to work with her.”

In a separate interview on the “WrestleRant” podcast, Raquel Rodriguez said that the current phase of her career, paired with Liv Morgan, is the best she has ever had.

Rodriguez made her comeback on WWE TV at Bad Blood 2024, and stated, “To be honest, it’s like my second nature to be that girl. It’s the same role I naturally fell into growing up, where I used to step in to help my sister get out of trouble or stop a fight. Doing that again with Liv feels good, natural and fun. I can’t say that I’ve had a more enjoyable time on the main roster than I have these past couple of months with Liv. It’s been really great, and I just don’t want it to end.”
