Nia Jax, according to a claim made this week by sports broadcaster, is the person who took the lead to get Jonathan Coachman ousted from his role as a live commentator on Monday Night RAW.
Jonathon Coachman, also known as ‘The Coach’, resumed work with WWE in January 2018, before exiting from both the organization and XFL in 2021. He asserted that he had still not been compensated for the costs of traveling.
Speaking on the recent episode of the podcast “Behind the Turnbuckle: The Last Word”, Coachman revealed some information about the alleged campaign spearheaded by Nia against him. He stated:
“She possesses an intense dislike towards me, Nia Jax… Not a single person approved of my return. For unknown reasons—which I refuse to attribute to jealousy—the situation simply was what it was. Nia Jax was at the forefront. She wanted Renee in my place. She held some form of animosity towards me.”
According to Coachman, when he re-joined WWE, he discussed with Vince McMahon about his desire to attend four specific golf tournaments. McMahon was reportedly in agreement with this stipulation. However, Coachman’s decision to attend the second golf event instead of RAW led to a fury-filled reaction from McMahon, the ex-RAW commentator mentioned.
Last year saw Jax make her return to WWE after being released in 2021. Following her successful challenge against Bayley at SummerSlam, she currently stands as the reigning WWE Women’s Champion.
D-Von Dudley once revealed how Mr. McMahon made Jonathan Coachman shed tears on WWE Story Time, aired on WWE Network.
