Ricochet Wants To Wrestle The Best Of The Best, Ricky Starks Talks Feud With MJF

Ricochet recently sat down with Iridian Fierro of WGN Radio 720 for an interview, where he shared his aspirations of wrestling with the best in the world, his experiences of facing Nick Wayne, among other things.

Here are some key takeaways from the interview:

Regarding his ambitions to wrestle with the best: “Undoubtedly, I am forever seeking to wrestle with the best in the field, regardless of their location – be it Mexico, Japan, Europe, Canada, or the US. This desire has remained unchanged for the past 21 years. There are so many wrestlers now who weren’t even born when I began my wrestling career.”

About his match with 19-year-old Nick Wayne: “Recently, I had the opportunity to wrestle with Nick Wayne who just turned 19. Being in the wrestling profession for 21 years, it’s always exciting to wrestle with the young talents and the newbies who are set to shape the business’s future. No matter the continent or the promoter, I am always up for wrestling with the best.”

Ricky Starks also made an appearance on the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast recently, where he touched upon several subjects, including his rivalry with MJF back in 2022. Starks claims that no subject was off-limits during their promo segment.

Here are some memorable moments from the podcast:

Discussing his openness during his promo segment with MJF: “There are certain people who lay down their boundaries about things they are not comfortable speaking about. However, in my case, there was nothing off-limits. Max and I have known each other for a while and it’s not exactly a friendly relationship. I have a simple rule – if you attack me verbally, you should be prepared for a powerful comeback. Being a public figure, I have not much to hide.”

On the topic of MJF imitating Triple H and Roddy Piper: “It’s somewhat ironic that Max accuses me of ripping off The Rock while he himself is imitating Triple H, Ric Flair, and Roddy Piper on a daily basis.”
