Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Dylan ‘Hornswoggle’ Postl once dominated the world of wrestling as the Cruiserweight Champion. His character was known for minimal verbal exchanges for years.

However, with the turning of the year in 2011, Hornswoggle acquired his vocal abilities due to the generosity of Santa Claus. Fans who typically saw Hornswoggle expressing anger through roars were in for a surprise.

During a recent episode on the “Six Feet Under” podcast, Postl delved into the reasons for his years of silence in the WWE universe. He quipped.

“I cannot do Irish. I cannot do any accent. I can hardly speak period.”

He also reminisced about a time he attempted to test his verbal skills. He shared a memory about the response he got from his fellow wrestler, Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay, in an interesting anecdote.

“I asked Fit, ‘How do you think that went?’ And he went, ‘Not very good.”

Despite his limited speech, there were moments where Hornswoggle did manage to break his silence. He openly stated that petite individuals frighten him during WWE’s popular event No Way Out 2007.
