Former WWE superstar Celeste Bonin, perhaps better remembered by her ring name “Kaitlyn”, recently discussed on the “A2theK Wrestling Show” about the time she accidentally won a battle royal while on NXT. Some fans might remember that Eve Torres, who was supposed to secure the victory, inadvertently fell off the apron after a topple over the top.
Bonin recounted the memorable incident and shared some highlights on the show. As per her recall, when she returned backstage after the match, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was laughing hysterically. “I can’t forget that laughter,” she joked, “and poor Eve was in tears.” She empathized with Torres, mentioning that she could understand her reaction.
Bonin also delved into her experiences working with Fit Finlay, who played a key role in training the women’s division. She fondly remembered the time, saying, “Those were the days when TV time was at a premium, and Fit really stood by me. I admire him greatly, particularly his dedication towards working with us women.”
Additionally in the podcast, Roman Reigns commented on Cody Rhodes’s unconvincing allegiance to the Georgia Bulldogs while appearing on the “SI Media” podcast. Reigns humorously teased Rhodes, hitting back in jest: “Cody isn’t a Bulldogs fan by any means, he’s just like many Georgians. He’s the sort who would run to Walmart to purchase a Georgia Bulldogs shirt, that’s the extent of it.”
Roman went onto tease Cody about his connection to the university, adding: “He didn’t attend the institution. Perhaps he’s had a few reckless adolescent escapades around Athens, but he’s certainly not a Georgia Bulldog.”
