TNA Turning Point 2024 Predictions? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another round of eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

The event of TNA Turning Point 2024 is scheduled to happen tonight, broadcasting from Winston-Salem, North Carolina’s Benton Convention Center. Stay with us as we provide a comprehensive review of the results during live coverage. But let’s initiate some forecast before the action begins!

The question for today is “Who do you predict will gain victory at TNA Turning Point 2024?”

Do share your predictions in the comments.

My Opinion…

I wouldn’t want to deceive any follower here, therefore, I’ll always begin any TNA discussion by clarifying that I’m not an active viewer of Impact. All my assumptions are formed from an outer perspective and the little information that reaches me from different sources. Never ever venture to place any bets on my insights here! My intention here is to initiate a discussion rather than to make a firm prediction.

[Pre-Show] Triple Threat Match: Rosemary vs. Savannah Evans vs. Xia Brookside

After the signing of Léi Yǐng Lee, who was ambushed by a resurfacing Savannah Evans—did I get it right? And are Rosemary and Brookside merely added to the fight to fill the card? My hunch tells me Evans might lose this due to Lee’s meddling, providing a possibility for Rosemary to grab the win by planting Brookside? Or is my guess totally misguided?

Frankie Kazarian vs. Mike Santana

The win-loss history of both fighters is quite impressive. Kazarian winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet in the previous event and Santana’s triumph over Moose—both bear substantial significance. Since Kazarian is seen as an antagonist now, opting to skip the night and focus on the title match instead, Santana could possibly snatch this victory, leaving Kazarian to retain his cavalier attitude of not caring, as he relishes his trophy and fancies himself as the imminent world champion.

TNA X-Division Championship Match: Moose (c) vs. Laredo Kid

I couldn’t emphasize enough my disconnectedness from the inner workings of this scenario, but to me, it seems like Moose was randomly picked from the roster to be on the card. Was it a rushed decision or does it signify a defining moment for Laredo Kid, who remains a mystery to me. Nonetheless, I’d say it’s more likely that Moose, who’s been a dominating force in this company for a while will prevail. It seems like every time I bet against Moose, I’m mistaken, and I’m not committing that folly this time.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: KUSHIDA & The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) vs. Ace Austin & The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy)

When champions enter a non-title fight on a pay-per-view, it inclines me to think that the opponents would take the win. It’s a straightforward method to signify new No. 1 contenders. Even if Kushida claims the victory over Ace Austin, The Rascalz can assert that their victorious performance entitles them to challenge The Hardys.

The easiest path often yields the best outcome.

No Disqualification Match: Josh Alexander vs. Steve Maclin

If I’m right, Josh Alexander has managed to outshine Steve Maclin on most occasions till now. In a No DQ match, the ban imposed on The Northern Armory from ringside does not guarantee a lack of interference. As the nature of such matches certainly encourages it.

I suspect an outsider might join in, turn the game against Alexander, allowing Maclin to score. Subsequently, Alexander might engage in a feud with that player until his contract’s end in February.

TNA Knockouts World Championship Two-Out-of-Three Falls Match: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Jordynne Grace

With regard to contracts nearing their end, it’s quite clear that Jordynne Grace is soon to switch to WWE. There’s no chance she’s reclaiming this title back. It would nullify the concept of having her stripped of the title earlier. Regardless of whether she gets the first or second fall, Slamovich has to bag the other two to keep the title. This is the one match I’d stake my bet on.

Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl Match: Joe Hendry vs. Eric Young vs. Hammerstone vs. Brian Myers vs. PCO vs. John Skyler

My lord, I am clueless. The purpose mainly is to dress someone in a turkey costume as a fun little humiliation. Sound enough. It’s surprising to have Hendry, a potential world champion, in this match. Is there a plan to spin this embarrassment into some shareable social media moment? Perhaps. But I would anticipate any other participant to lose, especially Skyler, who, from my limited knowledge, seems to be the least impactful.

Who would make the best turkey? My vote goes to Eric Young.

Who would look comically most suited in the costume? Hammerstone or PCO.

Who has the tendency to react the most? Brian Myers.

You choose. I’m leaning towards Myers now, as Skyler seems a little too predictable to me.

TNA World Championship Match: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. Eddie Edwards

As Edwards secured this title opportunity by pinning Nemeth in a previous tag team match, after an accidental hit from Hendry, it seems a straightforward strategy, but it somehow works. However, I doubt Edwards stands much chance here. I’d rather believe Kazarian could leave as a champion than bet on Edwards. Yet, I believe neither will happen. I foresee Nemeth retaining his title and Edwards just being another fallen competitor.
