The report makes mention that two reigning champions in Europe are among those reached out to, although specific identities remain yet undisclosed.
Europe has historically been a talent sourcing ground for personalities like Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr., Robbie X, and others who have journeyed to Japan to attain fame.
Furthermore, the report implies that fans should anticipate an increase in tours and joint events between European companies in 2025, with several prominent people currently in talks for making appearances in the UK and Ireland in early 2025.
Cara Noir was removed from the line-up of the PROGRESS Wrestling’s Vendetta 2 event, where he was scheduled to compete against El Hijo del Vikingo.
Vikingo took a step back from the event to focus on injury recovery. Rather than providing Noir with a substitute adversary, the company chose to give him time to convalesce.
Further intricacies regarding the cancelled match and the rationale for its removal from the event schedule have been divulged by Fightful Select.
“A lot of effort” was purportedly put into finding a new opponent for Noir before his ultimate removal from the event.
In the end, it was concluded that Noir needed a period of rest before beginning his US obligations with DEFY.
Cara’s situation was characterized as “sensitive” given his recent recovery from a foot injury that carried a potential threat to his career.
Due to Vikingo’s unavailability, it was decided that Cara’s addition to the show without a particular reason was unnecessary.
