Scott D’Amore, former TNA President and owner of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, will be overseeing a significant commercial development venture in Ontario, Canada. The Windsor Star reveals that his company, the D’Amore Group, is partnering up with Petretta Construction to construct a massive 25-acre project in LaSalle, set to be the town’s most extensive commercial initiative ever recorded.
The venture, with an estimated worth of 0 million, will be home to over 250,000 square feet of retail area including a grocery shop, a prominent brand hotel, Shopper’s Drug Mart, Dollarama, McDonald’s, Pet Smart, Tim Hortons, Taco Bell, Osmow’s Shawarma, and many more businesses. Patrick, D’Amore’s late father, was the first to acquire the property back in 1974.
D’Amore, himself a first-generation Canadian, and his business partner, Davide Petretta, have a shared history with their fathers emigrating from Italy in search of the Canadian dream. He shared that the dream of having a self-sustaining property, with every facility within walking distance, had been his father’s vision. This commercial project is set to fulfill and honor that vision.
Construction is expected to complete its first phase by fall of the upcoming year.
