During a recent conversation with WFAA 8, Dustin Rhodes lavished accolades on Tony Khan, the AEW President, calling him one of the greatest bosses he’s ever worked for.
Rhodes, during the interview, stated, “Tony Khan is one of the greatest bosses I’ve ever worked for. Having a relationship with Tony is significant. The atmosphere is different here compared to my previous employment where one is constantly on tenterhooks. My passion dimmed and I departed, but I reignited it here before our inaugural Double or Nothing event. I’ve been with AEW since its inception, I love it, and I don’t envision stepping away anytime soon.”
As the AEW President, Tony Khan, in a separate instance on the “Wrestfriends” podcast, enthusiastically spoke about AEW’s forthcoming debut on HBO MAX.
Commenting on simultaneous AEW shows being aired on HBO MAX, Khan said, “We now know we’re going to be on TBS and TNT for many more years to come, along with unfolding on MAX streaming. It’s the future of media. We are still a major part of the long-standing tradition of TBS and TNT, and we get to do both. The first-ever pro wrestling simulcast, ‘AEW Dynamite’, is scheduled to premiere on January 1, and we are highly excited for what is going to be a paramount event in AEW’s history.”
Khan further spoke about the AEW library gradually being added, saying, “The extensive library we’ve built gives us a lot of opportunities to not only showcase AEW’s present but also its future and past, all on a single platform that is MAX streaming. The entire library will be added to MAX gradually which is something I’m eagerly looking forward to.”
