During a recent episode of his podcast, “Kliq This,” Kevin Nash gave an update on his medical condition, stating he is experiencing problems with his neck and shoulder. He further mentioned that he is contemplating having a minimally invasive procedure to fix his shoulder.
In Nash’s words on the podcast, “I’m mulling over my options and I think the best route for me is to go to Bio Accelerator in Columbia to see my stem cell professionals. I suffer from severe shoulder tendinitis. I consider this decision since there’s a 70% success rate of back surgery, and a 78 or 79% for my significant back issue with stem cells. So, there’s a higher success rate by 10% with just injecting stem cells. I like that it doesn’t involve any major surgery. It’s a minor incision procedure. For now, I’m sticking with Bio Accelerator. I have issues with my neck, but it’s not what’s bothering me the most. The real problem lies in my L2, L3, and L3L4. I have herniations there. When I consulted the surgeon, he told me the compression is on my L3 left nerve root. A recent EMG, where they send electricity, confirmed it’s indeed being compromised. I don’t feel any numbness down my arm, it’s my lower back that’s causing my quads not to fire properly.”
In other news, Nick Aldis, who has been the General Manager of SmackDown for over a year, reflected on his experience and interaction with Dominik Mysterio.
Aldis joined SmackDown as the GM on the episode aired on October 13, 2023, which also saw the introduction of Kevin Owens as a member of the roster. During an appearance on the “Insight” podcast, Aldis discussed his WWE debut.
Some of the highlights from the “Insight” podcast include:
– Aldis spoke about working with Mysterio: “If ‘Dirty’ Dom Mysterio hadn’t been part of that segment, it would have been much more challenging to deliver the ‘big fan of your dad’ line that I did. I was new at that time, but as a producer, I had some liberty to make suggestions. I remember looking at the script and improvising by adding a pause before the ‘big fan’ line and following it with ‘of your dad.’ It cracked up Hunter and whoever else was around, and it seemed to work.”
– Aldis also elaborated on his debut segment: “For that segment, I wasn’t the main focus. My role was as a facilitator. However, I knew I had to seize the opportunity to make an unforgettable first impression. I wish I could have debuted in a place like Chicago, New York, or Philly where there might have been more fans who know me, but at the end of the day, ‘Dirty Dom’ is the sort of heel people love to hate. That’s the sweet spot, particularly in today’s era. You need to be the villain that people enjoy disliking, as genuine negative heat from the crowd can blur the lines between fiction and reality. It’s a delicate balance to maintain.”
