Bully Ray has voiced his disapproval over the decision made by the President of AEW, Tony Khan, to license the Guns N’ Roses’ song “November Rain” for Full Gear 2024. Khan used the track to promote AEW Full Gear 2024 along with the other November episodes of Dynamite and Collision.

In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Ray criticized Khan for his attempt to stir nostalgia using the song, linking it to its previous usage by ECW without official permission for their November To Remember event. Here are some key points from the podcast:

Regarding why Ray did not appreciate the use of “November Rain,” he stated, “Tony Khan did to ‘November Rain’ what Tony Khan does to everything else in pro wrestling — he just threw money at it.”

Ray also spoke about Khan’s attempt to use the song to hark back to its presence in ECW, “He’s trying to use ECW as a crutch to hotshot something. And you know what? It actually worked. It bounced their rating, and I believe that the airing of the video helped pop a rating for them.”

On another note, professional wrestler Preston Vance has emphasized that his main goal in AEW and ROH is to secure the TNT Championship. Since his return to ROH, Vance, during his recent appearance on the “The Classic” podcast, expressed his career goals as a wrestler. Here are the key points made:

Regarding his experience as a solo wrestler, Vance shares, “I love doing singles stuff because for example, my entire time in AEW, I’ve always been part of a group, which is awesome because I love being part of a group. But also, to be on your own, it’s scary, but it makes you want to work more because you don’t have anyone to lean on, it’s just you.”

On his ambitions in AEW and ROH, Vance expresses, “I want to do every show. I’m not picky. I love AEW. I think it’s awesome what Tony [Khan] has built, and it’s so good for wrestling fans and wrestlers as well. I’m very grateful for Tony, he’s an amazing boss.”

He then talks about his main goal, “I would love to, my main goal, I’ve said this on every title for the past three years, it’s the TNT Title. That’s simply an ode to Brodie. So I think it’d be a cool story that kind of came full circle.”
