On a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray shared his views on Chris Jericho’s vital role in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and his conviction that the firm cannot afford to lose such a pivotal player.

Highlights from the podcast provided below:

Talking about the contribution of Chris Jericho to AEW, Bully Ray said, “With his band, staging terrific backstage segments, and always coming up with a new version of himself, Jericho is doing a commendable job in helping AEW. Whether it’s mentoring young talent or taking on any task, he checks every single box. The backlash he receives from some AEW fans though, leaves me puzzled. Why hatred towards him? Why hate, AEW fans?”

Speaking about Jericho’s skill at promoting other talent, Bully Ray noted, “Jericho has a knack for putting other talents in a prominent position. He’s handing out breakthrough opportunities to others, but he can’t play their roles for them. He can only offer them the best chances to succeed. After that, it’s up to them to seize the opportunity.”

Former AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson, during a recent chat on “The Nikki & Brie Show,” confessed that his mind is constantly drenched in professional wrestling. He mentioned,

“The challenge lies in finding an avenue for my creative part of the brain, which is always coming up with new ideas. Even now, over a month since my last bout, I find myself waking up in the dead of night thinking about wrestling maneuvers or concepts. ‘This could have been useful if it had struck me a few years earlier.’ That’s the difficult part, but I had anticipated it.”
