In a recent episode of the widely-followed podcast “Cheap Heat”, CM Punk revealed a list of WWE Superstars he is considering to fight against in the future.
The well-known wrestler also brought up the possibility of having one more climactic match with John Cena.
He expressed, “I’m still adjusting to the demanding schedule and the fact that I’m no longer in my 30s. When you ask, ‘Who are you looking to go head-to-head with in the ring?’ There’s quite a few on my list. Chad Gable remains at the top of that list, closely followed by Bronson Reed. (Ludwig) Kaiser is someone whose skills I admire and I think it would be an entertaining match with him, same with Gunther. These are the guys I’m eagerly looking to compete with in house shows. Then comes the big ticket matches, the ones that carry the potential to be the highlight of a pay-per-view. The very idea gets me excited. The day I face off against Roman Reigns on the small screen, it’s going to be an event to remember. The stage is all set for a match with Cody (Rhodes). And you can never rule out a surprise return by The Rock. Last but not the least, there’s always the possibility of a match with big-match John (Cena) in the offing.”
CM Punk is all set to team up with The Original Bloodline to clash with The New Bloodline in the upcoming WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
